Viña Romántica is located in Las Pilas de San Isidro, Alajuela on the way to the Poas Volcano. The Costa Rican Boutique Hotel has beautiful views of both the Barva and Poas Volcanoes. The climate is a bit cooler than the valley. The air is fresh, and the village is friendly.

The owners are from Seattle, Washington.  Tim and Sherry initially drove their 1999 Nissan Altima from Seattle, WA to San Jose, Costa Rica in August of 2006. They lived in Puntarenas on the Pacific Coast. Loving the lifestyle, but not the heat of the coast, they decided to purchase a Boutique Hotel and Restaurant in the Central Valley which offers one of the best climates in the world.
